University Town Plaza is a transformation of the former enclosed University Mall into
the premier open-air retail destination in Pensacola, FL. The project has retained the
Sears and JC Penney department stores and has added Academy Sports + Outdoors,
Burlington Coat Factory, Toys “R” Us/Babies “R” Us combo store and TechShell.
The redevelopment also included a Cheddar’s and Texas Road House restaurants and
30,000 square feet of shops space with tenants including Moe’s, Jimmie John’s, Egg &
I, Dickey’s BBQ, Motherhood Maternity, and Verizon.
Property is located at the intersection of Interstate 10 and 110. Local cross streets
include Davis Highway and Creighton Road. University Town Plaza is a regional
destination, due to it’s proximity to the interstate system and less than four miles from
Pensacola International Airport.
There are only a few spaces left in the entire project. Space can be delivered in variety
of finishes depending on tenant’s strength and needs, such as vanilla box or cold/dark
shell. Some Tenant improvement dollars are also available.
