Storehouse Row at Navy Yard Charleston is made up of five buildings that originally served as storehouses and machinist schools in the early 1900s. Several of these buildings are among the original twenty-eight buildings at the naval base and each retain historic characteristics that reflect the original building’s purpose. While several storehouses have been restored to mixed-use office space, Storehouses 8 and 9, as well as the Powerhouse, are slated to undergo redevelopment this year.
