Sean Murphy

Sean has specialized in office and retail leasing throughout his commercial real estate career. Having completed hundreds of lease transactions ranging from 250 to 200,000 square feet, Sean’s spirit for successful negotiations has won him the reputation of being a fair and respected leader within his industry. He earned his degree from Northwestern University.

Prior to working at OSC, Sean for two years was a Senior Vice President at Cresa. He spent twenty years working for JMIC Corp, a Swiss owned developer with holdings in the U.S. and Europe and started his career with the Helmsley Organization where he worked in Chicago as a General Manager and Leasing Director.

Sean’s experience in real estate includes high rise renovation, operations and disposition. He was part of the team that won Crain’s Renovation of the Year. He saw the $90 million dollar renovation of the 1.5 million square foot property in Chicago’s Loop through to a rare 100% occupancy and successful sale.
